The Cerebral Assassin, The King of Kings, THE GAME, and all the other well-known nicknames he's earned throughout his illustrious career won't be forgotten by pro wrestling fans. It's recently been announced that Triple H has officially announced his retirement from pro wrestling as an active competitor.
Triple H made the announcement during an interview with ESPN's Stephen A. Smith. The decision comes from recent health problems. Everyone remembers the serious health scare he suffered late last year. As a result, he has a defibrillator in his chest. Due to the situation, it's unsafe for the 14-time World Champion to step in the ring as a competitor now.
Interestingly enough, the Game retires almost exactly 30 years after his in-ring debut. The pro wrestling business and the fans will forever be grateful for all HHH did for the fans and the business. Although one of the biggest villains in front of the camera, HHH always did his absolute best to give the fans their money's worth. And whether he portrayed a good guy or a bad guy, the fans have always loved him. He's done everything in his career. A member of D-Generation X and the creator and leader of Evolution. A Hall of Famer now. Without a doubt, Triple H has accomplished everything there is to accomplish in WWE. In Triple H's case, he was all about doing what's best for business and that's what he's always done.
In 2010, Triple H assumed duties with the WWE offices. His current title is Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development. Of course, he started the NXT brand. Quite simply put, Triple H has always done what's BEST FOR BUSINESS!
On behalf of the Playmakerz Blog, we thank Triple H for all he's done. And we wish him well in his future endeavors. Most importantly, we hope and pray that he's doing good.
THANK YOU, HHH.
