On March 20th, the United States will take on Panama at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Both teams are competing for a spot in the CONCACAF Nations League final. The United States are the three-time defending CONCACAF Nations League champions and they're determined to win it again. After last year's embarrassing run at Copa America, the USMNT is determined to continue the rebuild in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup next summer.

USMNT Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino named his 23-man roster for next week's game against Panama. The squad is fairly experienced and it's filled with brilliant talent. A few names are surprisingly not on the squad, but this roster has the potential to take care of business against Panama. If the USMNT can beat Panama, they'll be in the final three days later either against Mexico or Canada.

A few players on this squad are very inexperienced, but this is the opportunity to groom them further. For next year's World Cup, the USMNT will need a team as talented and experienced as possible. The 2026 FIFA World Cup will feature 48 competitors for the first time. The USMNT is hoping to make a deep run. For the USMNT, making it as far as the quarterfinals would be considered a successful run.

This summer, the USMNT will compete in the CONCACAF Gold Cup, which is another test of preparation for the World Cup next year. Before the Gold Cup, the USMNT will compete in two exhibition games at home against Turkey and Switzerland.
