The SEC sweeps the SEC-ACC Challenge as the SEC women defeat the ACC women 10-6 in their challenge. The SEC took the early lead in Day One, 4-2 on Wednesday night.
The Vanderbilt Commodores handled the Miami Hurricanes in Coral Gables to start the challenge off for the SEC. The ACC would get even as Virginia Tech won on the road at Athens over Georgia. The first of four ranked matchups took place in Louisville, Kentucky.
No. 11 Oklahoma against No. 22 Louisville.
The Cardinals built a 17-point in the first half. Then a 15-point lead in the third quarter with three minutes remaining. Then the Sooners came storming back as they overcame the deficit with dominated fourth quarter. The Sooners outscored the Cardinals 29-12 in the fourth quarter and 15-point deficit turned into a six-point win for Oklahoma and the SEC.
The SEC would continue to roll as Texas A&M defeated Syracuse in College Station with defense. Tennessee would escape Florida State by two points in Knoxville, giving the SEC a 4-1 lead with one game remaining on Wednesday. Georgia Tech would get the ACC their second win as the Yellow Jackets defeated Mississippi State by three.

The big day was Day Two as 10 games were schedule featuring three ranked vs. ranked matchups including two Top 10 showdowns. The first game on Thursday night saw No. 14 Kentucky visiting Chapel Hill to face No. 16 North Carolina. The Tar Heels would dominate the Wildcats to a 19-point win at home. Bring the ACC within one game at 4-3. Auburn would beat Virginia by 11 before No. 10 Notre Dame defeating No. 4 Texas in overtime and NC State upsetting No. 18 Ole Miss. Now the challenge is tied at five apiece with six games to play.
Then the SEC would put the clamps down on the ACC. Winning five of the last six games including No. 3 South Carolina cruising over No. 8 Duke and No. 5 LSU surviving upset-minded Stanford in overtime.
The SEC wins the women's SEC-ACC Challenge 10-6.

The SEC has dominated the SEC-ACC Challenge this season for both the men and women. The men completely dominated the challenge to a tune of 14-2 which included nine of the ten games on Day One on Tuesday night. Then they would follow-up by winning five of the six games on Wednesday night.
Now the women of the SEC completed the sweep with 10-6 win over the ACC. The SEC won 24 of the 32 games scheduled for this year's challenge. Three-fourths or 75%-win percentage for the Southeastern Conference over the Atlantic Coast Conference.
If you are the ACC, however, you can take hold winning key ranked vs. ranked games and getting upset wins over ranked SEC teams on both sides. On the men sides, Clemson upset No.4 Kentucky and No. 9 Duke knocked off No. 2 Auburn, the ACC lone two wins. For the women, No. 16 North Carolina beating No.14 Kentucky, No. 10 Notre Dame beating No. 4 Texas in OT, NC state upsetting No. 18 Ole Miss, and California upsetting No. 19 Alabama.
