Saquon Barkley's in the Super Bowl; How humiliating for the New York Giants?

By Alex Al-Kazzaz

How dumb do the New York Giants feel about choosing Daniel Jones over Saquon Barkley? Four years and $160 million? Isn't that what the Giants gave Jones? And what did they get out of it? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! The Giants organization couldn't do proper business, so Barkley did by signing with the Philadelphia Eagles and now he's playing in a Super Bowl! Oh, and Jones? He's NOT EVEN IN NEW YORK ANYMORE. And we thought that the Cowboys organization made bad decisions?

The Super Bowl is set; a rematch of Super Bowl LVII—Kansas City vs Philadelphia. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs want to become the first NFL team to achieve a three-peat. The Eagles are hungry to win their second-ever Super Bowl and redeem themselves from their loss two years ago. Props to the Washington Commanders for a fantastic season and playoff run. Who knows if Buffalo will return to the AFC championship next season? The playoffs were very exciting this season.

To be fair, Barkley tried to do business with the Giants. And for the record, Barkley didn't turn on the Giants. The Giants TURNED ON HIM. As far as Barkley signing with the Eagles goes, Barkley can honestly say, "It's nothing personal. It's just business!"

If Barkley and the Eagles win the Super Bowl, it'll be a major career moment for Barkley. Barkley's time in New York had its ups and downs. Despite the injuries, Barkley gave the Giants everything he had. In the end, his loyalty, hard work, and dedication were NOT rewarded by the Giants organization. Barkley can't be blamed for going elsewhere. And besides, the Giants were not committed. They didn't even want him.

Kansas City is heavily favored in the Super Bowl. Can Philadelphia pull off the upset? It's possible.
