Ring of Honor is...ALL ELITE!

By Alex Al-Kazzaz

Every time Tony Khan, the co-owner, president, and CEO of All Elite Wrestling teases a huge announcement, you might as well brace yourself because it's going to be HUGE! And this week, well to say that Khan's announcement was huge would be a MAJOR UNDERSTATEMENT. Khan's announcement of his acquiring of Ring of Honor will go down as one of the biggest shockers in the history of pro wrestling.

Ironic how Khan made his huge announcement right before Bryan Danielson and Christopher Daniels, right? Let's not forget that Danielson and Daniels wrestled in Ring of Honor's first-ever main event 20 years ago! It is ONLY FITTING as both Danielson and Daniels were both a part of Ring of Honor when it was launched!

According to ESPN Staff Writer Marc Raimondi, over four dozen members of the current AEW roster have competed for Ring of Honor. In addition, there are countless names that are currently signed to WWE or AEW that were once part of Ring of Honor. The point is that Ring of Honor is a HUGE part of professional wrestling. And now Ring of Honor will be taken to the next level.

Ring of Honor had been on a hiatus since its last even in December. They were reportedly set to continue operations next month. Now that Khan owns the promotion, there's no telling what his plans are. No doubt, there are big plans for the future. With all the talent on the AEW roster, perhaps acquiring was Khan's plan for a long time in order to give more TV time to his overloaded roster. Who knows just what the heck Khan is planning!? He's always got a plan! He's always got a trick up his sleeve. Now we're all wondering when Khan will have another major announcement to make. Honestly, it's just a matter of time.

AEW has already formed partnerships with several pro wrestling promotions around the world. Recently, AEW's relationship with Impact Wrestling came to an end, and it's unclear why. Hopefully, they'll be able to work with each other again. Wrestling promotions teaming up takes the wrestling back to the old days when pro wrestling was all territorial/regional.

This Sunday, AEW Revolution is taking place. Now that Khan is the owner of Ring of Honor, now we're really going to see a revolution in professional wrestling! AEW is entering its third year. Who knows what will happen next? EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED!
