Eagles' Brandon Graham ready for Super Bowl

Good news for the Eagles' Brandon Graham. The 15-year vet has spent his entire time in Philadelphia. And the defensive end now has the opportunity to add a second ring. Nick Sirianni's side will face a difficult task against the Kansas City Chiefs. But they just received a solid boost in their Lombardi Trophy pursuits.

The Philly X account posted the update on Saturday afternoon. Eagles' Brandon Graham was activated from injured reserve. He's spent a couple of months there since their late November encounter against the Rams. Naturally, this is welcomed news for the fanbase. Vic Fangio has that side of the ball playing at a high level. Additionally, by getting this player back, they'll be able to better hope to cancel out the biggest strength of their opponent on Sunday.

Jalen Carter is a game wrecker, and he's likely to get a better chance of impacting the game with the Eagles' Brandon Graham returning. Furthermore, Jalen Smith Jr. is having a strong postseason. The linebacker has accumulated 4.0 sacks. Again, welcoming the veteran both helps morale and should open up better matchups for others in the trenches. Defenders will need to win their one-on-ones against the Chiefs offensive line to hope to disrupt Patrick Mahomes.

His skill set proves to be invaluable. Even if he's unable to get to the quarterback, Eagles' Brandon Graham simply finds ways to affect the game. His range and athleticism can easily lead to a tipped pass, forced fumble, or tackle for a loss.

Defense since Eagles' Brandon Graham was forced to exit

Eagles' Brandon Graham is set to make his return for the upcoming Super Bowl since being forced to leave the action and after being placed in IR.

The DE tore his triceps in the aforementioned game. His leadership and level of play are unquestioned. His teammates have missed him. And his experience continues to prove to be a massive difference in games at this point in his career.

However, his teammates have picked up the slack since he first left earlier due to the injury. And now the team is only a win away from being crowned champions. Unfortunately for them, a franchise chasing their three-peat stands in the way.

But this defensive unit has played well throughout the year. They've allowed this team to often play ahead. Their ability to force turnovers and opponents out of the original game plan has proved invaluable in 2024-2025.

The task is to now provide extra possessions for Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley in the hopes of keeping the KC QB off the field. Easier said than done. But getting the Eagles' Brandon Graham return is only going to help their chances.
